wonderful painting Maurice – love everything on this! pretty much everything i ‘hope’ to achieve when i paint. ….and never come close to this. love the softness in the distance, foggy mist rising and the warm gold glow in the foreground. your hints of scarlet isn’t too much, its like goldilocks… LOL its just right! what a lovely painting 🙂

Lovely,well worth the 3 goes! I guess I have a few more years to practice, but I continue to reach for the Goal! I think my watercolour Miriam’s Pool came the closest. its on my Watercolour Guide page and in my Gallery too.

Yes, just checked out “Miriam’s Pool”—-brilliant. You won’t need as many years as it took me to get the results. I may sign up for lessons.
