What a wonderful collection of Sunsets Maurice, I have tried many times to capture the various images I have seen of visual Sunsets and yet when on paper they look nothing like. So I bow to your wonderful ability in re-creating these beautiful scenes
Such glorious colours, Maurice. Love your the subtle Venice look.
Many thanks for the follow. I’m extremely flattered.
WOW!! Gorgeous! A series of these on a wall would be beyond divine!
Cindy, Thanks. I’m going to get a chance to see all of these on a wall-being given a retrospective at Eastern Connecticut State University, opening Oct 24th, showing 116 paintings. If you can be there, I can thank you in person.
All of these are beautiful! 🙂 Cynthia
Thank you, Cynthia—you are wonderful!
Beautiful as skies or abstracts!
These paintings are stunning! Your skies are so vivid and translucent – like poetry in paint. Extraordinary work!
Thank you for finding and following my blog Maurice, I feel somewhere between the paint leaving the palette and landing on the canvas we are kindred spirits!. Loving the tone and depth in the ‘ Sunsets’ series, and it seems we are on a similar wavelength when drawing and painting figure /heads. Jana Siebers.
Beautiful and inviting.
Each one a masterpiece. What a joy to come here and be able to see your work.
Have you ever thought of painting forest fires? I love your colors and shimmers. I’ve been a fire fighter and it just reminds me of fires….
great art work
