You certainly got it right Maurice! It is stunning and emotionally charging. There is something about your choice of palette, your edges & textures that make this picture captivating for me. And that moody sky with the fuzzed out roof line-love it!
Elena, On a visit to Greenport, about 10 years ago, I came upon this scene, it stopped me in my tracks,– took a photo, came home and started painting it. Made some adjustments over the years–I’m sure it’s finished now. Thanks for looking and commenting!
