It has colors,movement…there’s this light,airy,lofty quality yet grounded by the bold strokes… A mixture of space-abstract art.

HI, Maurice! I liked Windsong II, but I love Windsong III. Especially like the upper right. And the tonal contrast, of course. 🙂 I just mentioned your Fifties photos to Adrian Pyn on WP today. His monochromatic work reminds me of your photographs from the fifties.
I’m looking for a figure/ground effect here, and trying to unravel what I’m seeing at the bottom of the swirls. My mind tells me there is something there I’m missing! 🙂 Love it.
Marsha Lee, Thanks for looking and commenting. You are not missing a thing. Sometimes I go with the flow, let the pigment take control, and go for decoration instead of representation. It keeps the process interesting. .
