Blue is a tough color to modulate—it can take control, if you’re not in charge. I use Prussian Blue,White, and a touch of Burnt Sienna to control it.
Yes, the pallet knife (I own 6) lends a distinctive quality that cannot be achieved any other way. The paintings look better in person, than on the screen.
