How did you get such a color of blue, near the bottom? Is that with a little brown? – As you mentioned once to tone it down slightly (I believe).
My blue mix: Prussian Blue, White, Burnt Sienna, and to cool it even more, Terre Verte (dark earth green)
With careful mixing, I think any cool blue, white, brown, and dark green will give you all the options you need. One last bit of advice, each color is effected by adjoining colors. So hold your loaded brush over the intended area, and judge it before you apply it.

I like the somewhat crackled look too.

I primed the panel with acrylic gesso, using a paint roller, This produced the texture (“crackle”).
I’m enjoying teaching at such a distance. Any othr questions?
