The cartoonists of Whistler’s era had a field day lampooning him. The showed a “Whistler Brush”, a drawing of three brushes tied together–one for sky, one for the sea, and one for land. I bought a “Whistler Brush”.
I really do appreciate your interest and comments. I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but my son John is running the blog—selecting from my 55 years of making pictures. It keeps him busy, and it keeps me happy.
Sold on your style! Then, when you stick in some water, I’m a goner.
