It’s really impressive! But I was also glad to see you were painting on panel. I like canvas, but my very favourite support is probably still plywood and plain wood, and I’d often use panel or even cardboard, but I have to ask myselt the question of the appropriate suppor before I start a painting sincfe I find it has to fit the subject of the picture.
Also,a panel offers texture options in the gesso application——spray on for a smooth surface, or brush on or roll on for various other textures—the best of both worlds. Thanks for commenting.
